Chloé

Chloé is a French fashion house founded in 1952 by the French-Egyptian fashion designer Gaby Aghion. The house produces luxury shoes in the finest leather in Italy and has its headquarters in Paris. Before Chloé was founded, there were no luxury fashion houses that produced ready-to-wear, only couture which meant that luxury fashion quality was only available to those with much money. Gaby Aghion decided to create high quality luxury fashion available for everyone. She did not think her own name suited as the name of a fashion house, so she borrowed her friend's name to the fashion brand: Chloé.
